Deptford High Street meets Emerging Artists
Here are some inspirations of our last pop up art exhibition in Deptford High Street. A buzzing high street with market stall traders from all around the world. But go through the small door of one of the shops, follow the stairs down to the basement and you will find the tranquillity of peace. This unexpected contrast to the outside is what attracted us to this venue.
We had a great turn out and thanks to everyone for coming and the support. Even the Night Czar of London, Amy Lamé, came to have a look at our pop up and to report back to the City Hall.
On Saturday, we have a charity fundraising event for the charity Rethink Mental Illness.
London based artist Stefan Finsinger talked about his artwork, what inspires him and how art can be a therapeutic thing.
Art therapist Jenna Finch talked about art therapy. An introduction to the history, theory and practice of art psychotherapy.
